We do not have a satellite phone but the hotel owners have satellite phones so if we have some problem then we can call from hotel. And the other source of communication is internet. You will find wifi on most of the hotel on the little extra amount.
2. What happen if we need a helicopter rescue?
Please don’t worry about that we can manage the helicopter if we need rescue. As long as you have travel insurance.
3. Do you know how to avoid A.M.S.?
Yes this is most importation question for trekkers if we make good acclimatization then we avoid A.M.S. you will find in my itinerary that we make a slow ascent, usually 500m per night above 3000mtrs. This will avoid any problems. Trek to Nepal will always advise our valued guest to hike high and sleep low.
4. What is the standard of food and accommodation?
When, we go above 3000m. The standard food is vegetable and potatoes and flowers item but not to order any meat is not fresh there and accommodation is of a basic standard in most villages best accommodation according to our trip plan. The lodges we choose will be clean and comfortable.
5. We will not be able to carry much luggage ourselves. How much will your porter carry?
Don’t worry about that you are not be able to carry much luggage yourselves our porter will carry 20kg to 30kg for two people. Please ask an extra porter if your luggage is heavier then 15 kgs
6. How much extra money will we need during our trekking?
Depends on which short of package you are buying with us. Normally on upgraded rooms you only pay for bottled drinks and the personal expenditure you are doing for chocolates
