Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at T.I. Airport at Kathmandu and transfer to the Hotel @1365masl


After your arrival at Kathmandu Trek to Nepal assistant will greet you at the airport and transfers you to the recommended hotel. Depends on the arrival time we may participate on half day sightseeing tour around Kathmandu on world heritage sights of Nepal Like Pashupati nath/swyambhu nath and Kathmandu durbar square. Or stroll around the thamel street to look the activity of the tourist hub city Thamel/You can even rest if you are tiered from long journey. Overnight at guest house.

Day 2: Sightseeing tour around Kathmandu


After breakfast Trek to Nepal representative tour guide will takes you for sightseeing on the historical places which is listed on the UNESCO , world heritage sights of Kathmandu Like Kathmandu durbar square, Biggest sacred Hindu temple Pashupatinath,The monkey temple Swyambhu nath and the Buddhist shrine holy stupa called Boudhanath. Evening Mr Sapkota (founder of Trek to Nepal) will brief you about the trip and the introduction with guide and entire supporting crew. It’s a moment can ask any question you are about dough for your upcoming hiking holidays. Over night at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 3: Kathmandu to shyafrubensi 1530mtrs/8-9 hrs


Today’s trek begins with long journey for about half of the way by black peefed road then the rough road to Ramche where we are checking our permit then the road goes for Dhunche(dist head quarter of Rasuwa) then descends for about an hour to get to Shyafru bensi. Overnight at guest house with full meal plan.

Day 4: Trek to Gatlang2337mtrs/5/6hrs


Today’s trail begins with ascending through the Zig-zags way till we reach to Bahundanda then the way descends to the Bigger Tamang communities settlement called Gatlang, where we are staying overnight at one of the house from Tamang community people.

Day 5: Trek to Somdang passing through parvati kunda.


Today’s trail begins with little hiking above for Parvati kunda(big festivalduring full moon of august) then Descends through the rhododendron forest to the Yuri kharka. After having lunch here we will pass through Khurpu bhanjyang then descend down featuring the 200mtrs chaukarma waterfall to the beautiful valley of Highly priced rubies with extract zink, copper, tin and crystal, called, Somdang, where we are staying one of the house. We can explore the 1.4k.m.tunnel to the mountain for those important mines.

Day 6: Rest and exploration day at Somdang.


Today is the exploration day, so let’s hike for the Luri mining company to enjoy the Himalayan scenario of Paldor and other peaks and turn back to somdang again for our overnight stay.

Day 7: Somdang to Pangsang pass and down to Tipling3842mtrs6-7hrs


Today is the tough day regarding the trek so let’s start hike up with our packed lunch for about 3 hours to get to the View point of Pangsang kharka, offering 270 degree panoramic scenario of Ganesh himal,Manaslu, Langtang Himalayan ranges and beat of Annapurna ranges as well. Ganesh himal region is fully blessed by the Plentiful herbal plants, which previously would take to Tibet to exchange with salts, livestock, turquoise and wool. From here the trail descends down to the malty ethnic settlement (mainly tamangs) ,with the couple gompas and both Catholic and protestant church to Tipling, passing through the Gompa and the cremation centre for Buddhist and Christian both. Tamang cultural show can be arranged up on request. Overnight at the house from the community.

Day 8: Visit Hot Springs (2 ½ hrs walk) and trek back Chalish Gaon 1674m/ 5505Ft. 5 hrs


After breakfast , trek down to Chalish village taking 30 minutes’ walk, leave your most of the luggage and trek to Tatopani (hot springs) walking 1 ½ hours where pack lunch will be suited to eat (no lodge has built yet). Enjoy half of the day taking bath with one of the best hot spring of this region. After enjoying return back to Chalish village.
Chalish is inhabited primarily by Gurung, Ghale and Kami. There used to be Newar people but they migrated to Kathmandu city. The hospitable people of this area have unique customs and craftsmanship and traditional dances, including a hospitable welcome dance, Ghatu Dance, Dohori is also popular with call and response between male and female participants, a type of courtship ritual, complemented by folk music. Some dances depend on the time of year and take place during festivals including the Maruni Dance during Dasai and Tihar, Hai Nelo Dance of Tihar, and the Ghatu (Ghasiri Dance) that occurs during Chandi Purnima in the Nepali month of Chaitra. Gurung men traditionally wear vangra, a woman, embroidered cotton cloth tied at the ends that serves as a pouch for carrying goods. Sri Tinkanya Devi Mandir lies above Chalish. Local women tie bits of cloth or leave a bangle representing a wish to be fulfilled near a small pool of water surrounded by Barmase or periwinkle flowers. This village is known as one of the most friendliest of the areas in terms of culture show program, hospitality, and kindness and helpful. Most of the youngsters of this village are in tourism work as a trek guide, Sherpa, porter or even trek and travel owners. 

Day 9: Chalish - Ukhum (Lunch) - Jharlang (Ungul) 3000 m/9900Ft. 5-6 hrs


After breakfast trek to Mani Danda – 30 minutes’ walk from where you will see the breath taking Ganesh Himal ranges mountain views and a stone through entire Chalish village views on the back. Trek continued passing Deul danda, Gobre village (hilly walking slow walking is recommended with your guide and porter), Chhap danda and Bandari Bhir where rock climbing possibility has been seen. So any rock climber who is willing to climb highly recommended but basic infrastructure has not developed yet. Arrive Borang village which is also majority of Tamang people and trek continue to Ukhum for lunch. After lunch trek continue to Lishne jungle, cross suspension bridge, passing through Chhapchyat village you finally get to Jharlang village (Ungul). One of the best and panoramic mountain View point of the area. This is Tamang village and belongs nearly 200 houses.

Day 10: Jharllang Gaun - Darkha Gaun 850m/ 2805Ft. 6-7 hrs


After breakfast trek most of the way down to Jharlang Phedi walking 2 ½ hours passing paddy terraces and surrounding landscapes. Passing through suspension bridges, breath taking views of Ankhu khola and Chyamchyat as well as Ri village other side of the river finally reach at Darkha gaon. This village is mix culture village of Brahmin people and Tamang as well as Dalit. 

Day 11: Darkha Gaun – Darkha Phedi - Dhading Besi – Kathmandu 1310m/4323ft. 6 -7 hrs drive


After breakfast trek all the way down to Darkha Phedi taking 45 minutes downhill walk and then take sharing local Jeep with other people and the arrive in Dhading Besi after 3-4 hours rough and tough zig –zags road drive. Crossing through Ankhu Khola as well as Kimdang phedi villages, Katunje village and Jyamrung village will make you breath taking scenic driving having fabulous landscape surroundings. From Dhading change another bus and drive back to Kathmandu taking 3 hours driving.

Day 12: Departure to International Airport.
