Overview

Trek around annapurna is one of Nepal’s classic treks that take us on a full circuit of the Annapurna range over 17 days. This is one of the famous treks in Annapurna region with many excitement and adventure. During the trek, we pass through rhododendron forests, mountain hills and across barren, rocky lands and snow covered passes.

Around Annapurna trek completes in 13 days. We will pass Thorong La Pass (5416 m) which is challenging part of this trek. After passing Thorong La Pass we are rewarded with dramatic and stunning views of the Annapurna range and northwards into Tibet. Annapurna Classic Trek starts from the city of Pokhara where one can take a well-earned rest by the lakeside and enjoy a cake at one of the towns many bakeries. This trek offer many other adventures including the background composed of lush cultivated fields with dense forests and the culture of Nepal starting from Marshyandi valley to the Manaslu. Starting the trek, we will cross the ethnic villages of Gurung, Thakali, Brahmins etc. and we will find the vegetation like rice, wheat, corn, millet and barley as the altitude increases. The end of the trek will lead you to the deepest gorge of the earth, the Kali Gandaki.

Itinerary

Day 1: Kathmandu arrival and transfer to the Recommended hotel. Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley with the introduction programs with your guide will be held on.


On the occasion of your arrival in TIA airport@ Kathmandu Trek to Nepal representative guide will greet you and transfer to your recommended hotel at Kathmandu. Depends on your arrival time either make some sightseeing around Kathmandu valley on world heritage sights or rest on Hotel. Overnight at hotel on b/b plan Evening introduction with the guide and discus about the trek. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Drive to Besi sahar to shyange/Jagat 1120mtrs.6-7 hrs of driving.


Drive from Kathmandu to Syange/1,120 m we start our driving from Kathmandu crossing the heavy trafficking valley back to scenario of the hilly reason as well as Trishuli river by having the lunch on the way will reach syange after 6 hours of journey for 207 kilometer O/N at shyange guesthouse
 

Day 3: Trek to Bagarchhap 1700mtrs.6hrs of trek.


Start our trek to Bagarchhap after having the breakfast at syange crossing the river several times with beautiful scenario having the lunch at taal is a nice place to enjoy your lunch on the riverside then continue our journey to Bagarchhap(1,700 m) takes about 6-7 hours for walking to 23kilometers because of ups and down.O/N at guest house in Bagarchhap

Day 4: Trek to Chame 2600mtrs/14k.m. 6hrs of trek.


Start our 14 kilometer journey to Chame at 2600 m4-5 hours
Today we start our journey at 8.00 am after having our breakfast the day is bit shorter but still lots of uphill to cover Start getting precaution to get protected from cold as well as altitude having lunch at Magin goth continuesly walk to Chame overnight at guest house in Chame.

Day 5: Trek to Pisang3190m/14km4-5 hours of trek.


After breakfast starts our journey with the totally changed atmosphere through pine forest and the wind as well as the land will be dry by heaving our lunch @ Dhikur pokhari continuously walking to Pisang in the High mountain the system says hike high and sleep low So better to visit Upper pisang monastery situated on the hilltop of other side for acclimatization as well as for better sun set view and return back O/N@pisang

Day 6: Trek to Manang / 3,500 m/16 km 6 hours


After breakfast its better to consult your guide today for which way to go because he can measure your stamina either you can continue the upper trail or not as the upper trail is longer as well as difficult by lots of ups and downs but the views worth your exercise and the lower trail is more flatter and wider and the view is not bad as well overnight at Manang.

Day 7: Acclimatization day in Manang


Acclimatization day means not simply sitting in the room need to acclimatized yourself there are several choices either you go to Ice lake for 6 hours or the little hilltop across the river just above Gangapurna lake or the little monastery of the lama called 100 rupee lama who blesses you for the success for crossing throngla overnight @manang

Day 8: Trek to Ledar/4,200 m//10 km3-4 hours


Start our short journey after breakfast its short journey but we will suggest you to start your journey quite on time because ledar is quite small village with the few guest houses to make sure you are having the room for tonight. it is a semi-strenuous trek for the day Hike slowly to let your bodies acclimate to the elevation gain. We are making both lunch camp @Ledar.

Day 9: Trek to Thorong fedi/or High Camp/4,850 m/11.3 km4-5 hours


After breakfast continues our journey towards throng fedi first of the path is quite steep up then the flat and down to cross the icy river through suspension bridge and climb up till the one and only tea shop there and continue walking till fedi. Listen your body here and make decision either you stop here and walk an extra hour tomorrow by starting @4;oclock in the morning or staying on high camp to save your stamina for tomorrow’s high pass. O/Nguesthouse

Day 10: Across Thorong La Pass5,414 m and Trek down to Muktinath/3,810 masl 8-9 hours


Need to start early morning after having a bowl of porridge and a cup of coffee with your dreamy journey to cross throngla. Better to have a flask today to have hot tea or water be ready for couple miles about 4km straight up to reach throngla at the height of 5414masl you will get one tea stop before pass and another tea house at pass as well Hurrey///you are at the top do not spend more time here after a Dozens of click start your downhill journey about 10 kilometers to Muktinath. And after 10 am the path will be very windy here and we may have to spend about an hour to the teashop at kharka for our lunch overnight at guest house @Muktinath. 3,810 m.

Day 11: Trek down to Jomsom.2800masl/15km/6hours


Today it’s better idea to Visit Muktinath temple before breakfast. It is very popular temple among Hindu as well as Buddhist people come to practice here from far away. Come back to hotel have breakfast walk down to Kagbeni if you are interested to visit the old town of the area. Till they prepare lunch by the time we can explore 600years old monastery have lunch and walk through very windy valley to Jomsom. Overnight @ guest house.

Day 12: Fly Pokhara 900mtrs and drive Kathmandu.200km6 hours


We start early morning to catch our flight to Pokhara and wait at airport because of the mountain weather some time might be delay or even can be cancelled so be ready for any time the flight may come drop down to Pokhara if you are having couple extra days its better place to chill down after your hard journeys otherwise we will take a bus to Kathmandu. Fare well diner might be held on Farm house on the country side of Nepal, with the family.Overnight @ hotel.

Day 13: Final departure/or Next activity


Final Departure We will drop you to Tribhuban international airport by private airport transport. We will drop you at the airport on three hours prior time of your departure, as we always feel very sad at this very juncture that our companion of trekking for the moment ends here and in the meantime we also feel relaxed that we were able to serve you with the best trekking experience that you ever get in your lifetime while trekking. We would leave no stone unturned to make your customers feel important and happy. We always take suggestions and encourage our valued customers to promote Nepal and Trekking in Nepal.
