Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.


Upon arrival at Kathmandu, Trek to Nepal travel and tour representative will pick you up from airport and we will be your trustworthy travel companion until you depart for your home country. We will accommodate our valued customers in three star hotels in Kathmandu. We take care of the room and breakfast of our valued customers during their stay in Kathmandu Valley. O/N three star hotels on b/b plan.

Day 2: Kathmandu Valley sightseeing.


In Kathmandu Valley TTN representative guide will take our customers to the landmark sight of Kathmandu like Kathmandu Durbar Square which holds the political and historical values in Nepalese civilization. Apart from Kathmandu Durbar Square, we take our customers to Swayambhu Nath, (The Monkey Temple) which is the symbol of Harmony between Buddhists and Hindu, from the very place we can get the splendid view of Kathmandu Valley and its outskirts. Furthermore, we will take you to Pashupatinath Temple which is the holy place for Hindu devotees and the holy cremation area which might interest you. O/N three star hotels on b/b plan.

Day 3: Early morning Fly to Lukla(2810m.)


200mtrs descends and 50mtr ascend. The Lukla airport often called as Tenzing Hillary Airport is the world’s most dangerous airport. The thrill of landing in such an airport is an added experience to make. After a bag pack formality From Lukla the trek begins towards to Phakding via Chaunrikharka. On the way we will stop for lunch, where you can enjoy snowcapped peak of kusum kangaroo and Thamasherku after another hour walk you will reach phakding. Phakding is a small village in the Khumbu region of Nepal. It lies in the Dudh Kosi river valley just north of Lukla and south of Monjo, at an altitude of 2,610 m. This is the low land Sherpa settlement where you can see farming work are been doing and the movement of cattle as well. O/N at guest house ,Breakfast/Lunch/Diner

Day 4: Trek to Namche Bazar1000mtrs ascend 100mtrs descend.


After having breakfast your journey continues to wards to Namche bazaar, crossing suspension bridge several times by enjoying the beautiful forest of pine trees and rhododendron you reach Monjo, the another beautiful settlement in this area . Just beyond Monjo your trek will enter to the sagarmatha national park entry point at Jorsalle, where you have to register your entry permit so they can register your arrival. After this your journey to Everest continuous crossing dudh koshi river and walking several up and down makes you step climb near the confluence of two river Bhote koshi from the west and dudh koshi from the east have to cross dizzying high suspension bridge from the river. Here the straight climb begins to Namche Bazar where you will find trafficking of people climbing up hill and the local person using the police whistle to direct traffic of local yak and donkeys to carry the loads. After an hour climb you will reach to the rest point where you can enjoy the view of Everest region, if the weather is nice. Start climb slowly and less steeply to Namche bazaar where you may have first effect of altitude sickness. Namche is a village and Village Development Committee (Namche) in Solukhumbu District in the Sagarmatha Zone of north-

eastern Nepal. It is located within the Khumbu area at 3,440 metres (11,286 ft) at its low point, populating the sides of a hill. Namche is the main trading center and tourist hub for the Khumbu region with many Nepalese officials, a police check post and a bank. It is also the place for acclimatizing for the trekkers to go further towards Everest base camp. O/N at guest house , Breakfast/Lunch/Diner.


Day 5: Acclimatization


The acclimatization process takes place in Namche bazar by taking short day hiking or relaxing by roaming around in the Namche itself. According to health experts the trekkers should always move while relaxing and acclimatizing in the altitude. So, we will take our fellow trekkers to either short hiking or walking in and around Namche before setting up for the further trek to e.b.c. Trekkers can hike to the world’s highest placed hotel “The Everest View hotel” from where you can see the spectacular view of the Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Khangtega and other panoramic views of snow capped mountains. The Khangtega mountain is unique on its geographical setting as it resembles the back pack of Horse riding. O/N at guest house ,Breakfast/Lunch/Diner

Day 6: Trek to Tyangbouche 350mtr descend and 750 mtrs ascend


After getting acclimatized we set off to Tyangbouche early morning after breakfast. The trail towards Tyangbouche is less smooth but it contemplates the trekkers with the majestic views of Mount Everest up close along with Mount Ama Dablam. The ups and downs in the trail, gives our soul and body the ultimate challenge. The serene smell of pine forests and swift white river besides the trail makes the trekking tiredness to vanish. We will have the lunch on the way.O/N at hotel breakfast/lunch/dinner

Day 7: Trek to Pheriche. 70 mtrs descend 450mtrs ascend.


After having breakfast we will heat the road again to wards to Pheriche via coming muddy trail down to Debuche following the rhodondron bushes till we cross the imja khola and climb to pangboche ,where we are having our lunch. After pangboche the route enters alpine meadows above tree line and you will only find bushes of Juniper and you will reach somare with some teahouse and from there the way devides after crossing river to orsho, lower trail goes to Dingboche and the upper trail goes to Pheriche. Pheriche is a village in the Khumbu region of eastern Nepal. Situated at an altitude of about 4,371 m (14,340 ft), above the Tsola River, Pheriche is a popular stop for trekkers and climbers, where you will find consultation from doctors and volunteers if you are having any problems.  Pheriche was primarily a farming village raising potatoes and buckwheat, and keeping yaks. It is the important stop over for acclimatization too. O/N at guest house ,Breakfast/Lunch/Diner

Day 8: Trek to Lubuche.


700 mtrs ascend Upon this juncture our trail starts to step higher up in the mountains slowing leaving behind the khumbu glacier. On the way we will see the memorials of many mountaineers who died while trying to conquer the mount Everest. The cemetery marks the memorial of the famous climber like Scott Fisher, Rob Hall and other climbers. The air starts to become thinner from here onwards as we pass the pumori, khumbutse, mahalangur himal(mountain) along with the Nuptse smiling on our right. O/N at guest house, Breakfast/Lunch/Diner.

Day 9: Trek to Gorakshep 250mtrs ascend and to base camp5360 mtrs.


From lubuche to Gorakshep we start to see the north ridge of Everest along with Mt. Pumori, Mt. Mahalangur, Mt. Lingtern, Mt. Khumbutse, Mt. Nuptse, etc. Little walk down would take us to Thangma Riju from where we can have the glory of 360 degree sight of snowy mountains. Climbing steeply up to the top through the torrent of Changri Glacier, we catch our first glimpse of Kala Patthar, a grey-green knoll beneath the Mt. Pumori. As we reach Gorak Shep, we will find snow-capped mountains looming all around us including the top of the world - Mt. Everest. After a brief lunch and rest, we start our goal the Trek to Everest Base Camp through the once vast Gorak Shep Lake. Upon arriving here we will be greeted with the lots of colorful tents of people vying to conquer the Mt. Everest. At this very juncture we can feel relaxed that we have achieved our ultimate goal. Back to Gorakshep with a success smile without minding the wind bloom welcoming us for our success. Day 10: Trek to morning hike to kalapatthar(5545m.)Lubuche.


375mtrs ascend 615mtrs descend. The best place to snap pictures of panoramic view of snow capped mountains. The Kalapatthar gives you the lifetime opportunity to witness kissing of morning sun rays at the tip of several mountains including the Mt. Everest. All our tiredness and the hardship would vanish with the majestic scenery that you can see from here. You will feel as if the heaven and earth is actually connected right here. These moments are the most precious part of this trekking. Once you get back to your normal setting the memory of these panoramic views would always motivate you. Day 11: Trek to Pangboche 400mtrdescend Pangboche or Panboche is a village in Khumjung VDC of Solukhumbu District, is probably the highest sattelment of the real farmers of highland with their cattle, at an altitude of 13,074 feet (3,985 m).


 It is located high in the Himalayas in the Imja Khole valley, about 3 kilometres northeast of Tengboche which  is a base camp for climbing sherpas for Ama Dablam expedition. The monastery present in Pangboche is the place where climbers pray for safety and security while climbing the mountain. O/N at guest house ,Breakfast/Lunch/Diner

Day 12: Trek to Kyangjuma.500mtrs ascend and 290 descend.


From Pangboche we reach to Tengboche, a steep descent of about 1500ft/500m leads through rhododendron forests and fir trees to the Dudh Koshi River. We cross the Dudhkoshi river and we pass the village of Tashinga and Sansa before finally reaching beautiful village of Kyangjuma. Upon arrival at this juncture, we can have the gorgeous Ama-dablam, Thamserku, Nuptse, Lhotse and Everest once again. Just have a cup of coffee with the sunset view. Day 13: Trek to Monjo via Namche.900mtrs descend On this juncture of our trekking we can encounter with the Himalayan animals like Himalayan Thar i.e. mountain goats, musk deer, snow leopards and pheasants.


The Monjo is a very quiet place to stay and from here onwards the trek to Lukla becomes more easier. O/N at guest house ,Breakfast/Lunch/Diner

Day 14: Trek to Lukla, 340m trsascend 200descend The last day of trekking.


At this juncture we will have fun while trekking with some songs on popular Nepali folk tunes, we will share the pictures that we took and the memories that we cherished. Upon reaching Lukla we will give rest to our mind and body by being prepared for evening celebration. O/N at guest house ,Breakfast/Lunch/Diner

Day 15: Fly to Kathmandu.(Farewell)


We head back to Kathmandu and as earlier the accommodation will be provided along with the breakfast in a three star hotel in Kathmandu. On spare day you can roam around Thamel or other major touristic areas at Kathmandu and do some shopping. Fare well dinner will be held either in a typical Nepali restaurant in Kathmandu with cultural programs or with the Trek to Nepal guide family on our farm house in Goldhunga. Day 16: Departure to final Destination.


we will drop you to Tribhuban international airport by private airport transport.We always feel very sad at this very juncture that our companion of trekking for the moment ends here and in the meantime we also feel relaxed that we were able to serve you with the best trekking experience that you ever get in your lifetime while trekking.
